2025-2026_School_Calendar_Rev._6.2025.pdf The Board of Education approved the revised 2025-2026 school year calendar to reflect the inclusion of eight (8) additional early dismissal days for professional learning activities and self-directed educator time. The intent of this change is to improve teacher effectiveness thereby boosting student achievement. Hampstead Elementary School dismisses at 1:00 pm on the pre-planned 2 hours and forty-five minutes early dismissal days. Please ensure your family has dismissal plans in place for each of these 1:00 pm Early Dismissal Days (1 each month!).

25-26_Yearbook_order_flyer.pdf Click for our Yearbook Sales Flyer containing the order and QR code needed to order yearbooks online. Paper order forms will be sent home for those who would like to pay by cash or check. This year the HES yearbook has expanded to be 40 pages full of photos! The cost is $24.00 plus tax. We have a set number ordered. Once sold out, they are gone. Make sure you order your child's yearbook soon! The ordering site closes Friday, March 13, 2026.

Valentine's Day Reminder: No candy or food. Cards and/or small trinkets are fine as long as every student in the class receives one.
Inclement_Weather_Procedures_for_Hampstead_Elementary_School_Color.pdf; CCPS Reminder: Now that the inclement weather months are upon us, we would like to remind you of the following: If it becomes necessary to delay the opening of schools on a day when a two-hour and forty-five minute early dismissal is schedules, the day may be converted to a normal dismissal. In the event this occurs, a notification will be included as part of the inclement weather announcement you receive that morning.

All water bottles must be clear plastic with a lid that closes. Please write your child's name clearly on the water bottle. Label all items, lunchboxes, bookbags, sweaters, coats, etc. Unclaimed items in the Lost & Found will be donated to NESAP periodically during the school year.
